A timeline of programs and initiatives LCCPMA has delivered in service of a more cyber-resilient Liberia.

Since 2019, LCCPMA has delivered 8 documented programs across 3 focus areas: Capacity Building, Community Outreach, Public Awareness.

  1. Capacity Building

    Cyber Security Toolkits Donated to CIO Council of Liberia

    LCCPMA and its international partner the Global Cyber Alliance donated defensive Cyber Security Toolkits to the Chief Information Officers (CIOs) Council of the Liberian Government, headed by Hon. Sekou Kromah. The Council consists of all ICT Directors and Assistant Directors within the various Liberian Government Ministries, Agencies, and Commissions (MACs).

  2. Capacity Building

    Virtual Cyber Security and Digital Forensics Training for the Judiciary

    LCCPMA and its partners Zyber Global Centre, the International Legal Assistance Consortium, and the Global Cyber Alliance delivered a one day successful virtual cyber security and digital forensics training for the National Association of Trial Judges of Liberia, the Office of the Solicitor General of Liberia, and the James A.A. Pierre Judicial Institute.

  3. Community Outreach

    National Youth Task Force Against COVID-19 Community Response

    LCCPMA was nominated by Messengers of Peace Liberia to serve as a member of the National Youth Task Force Against COVID-19 (NYTFAC), headed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. As a member of NYTFAC, LCCPMA donated anti-COVID-19 materials to high schools and vulnerable communities in Montserrado County, and donated rice and other food items to vulnerable orphanages and communities including the Sis. Iye Children Orphanage home in Barnersville township and the Gaywaydo Community in Barnesville Township.

  4. Public Awareness

    Hands-On Cyber Hygiene Workshop for Women

    LCCPMA teamed up with ILab Africa Center, Cisabfoundation, CFC Underwriting, Mastercard, and the Botswana Directorate of Public Prosecution to deliver a hands-on Cyber Hygiene Workshop for women from small businesses, government, and civil society in Monrovia. Attendees included representatives from UN Women, Liberia National Police, Ministry of National Defense, Liberia National Fire Service, Liberia Immigration Service, Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice, Ecobank Liberia, and Lonestar MTN Liberia.

  5. Capacity Building

    Corporate Cybersecurity Training — International Bank (Liberia) Limited

    Provided corporate technical cybersecurity training to the ICT department and Risk department of the International Bank (Liberia) Limited.

  6. Capacity Building

    Cybersecurity Training for Chief Information Officers of Liberia

    LCCPMA and its partners the New York County District Attorney's Office, the Global Cyber Alliance, and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications provided two days of cybersecurity training to the Chief Information Officers (CIOs) of the Republic of Liberia. The training was hosted by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. Hon. T. Olandrus Dickson, Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Defense, served as Facilitator during the event.

  7. Capacity Building

    Corporate Cyber-Crime Awareness — International Bank (Liberia) Limited All Branches

    LCCPMA provided corporate cyber-crime awareness training to all employees of the International Bank (IB) Liberia Limited, covering all ten branches situated in different localities across Liberia.

    LCCPMA provided a hands-on cybersecurity workshop for youth from various sectors across Liberia, equipping young people with practical cybersecurity skills and awareness.
